Infrastructure
This is a very big challenge for the soccer club. We use less than seven-player aside pitches that are part of the Clay City Secondary School’s intended to be soccer ground.
The challenge compromises our training standards. Youngsters between 13 and above years are supposed to be introduced to and familiarized with the demanding needs of playing a full-sized 11-aside soccer game.
However, not all is a gloomy picture; the Soccer Club of East Africa is building on experience and relationships to engage in formidable partnerships that will turn around this whole challenging infrastructure issue. We have written to the board about the issue.
We are seeking to turn the Soccer Club of East Africa into a regional school of soccer excellence that is core to our long-term strategy. The club is also limited in a way as it lacks modern training equipment.
