The Scea AC Thrashes Eden United In A Developmental Friendly Return Leg Match

Match Scores: Eden United 4 – The Scea AC- 10

The Scea AC went ahead in the 13th minute with a cool finish from Olivier Materega before running riot with the score sheet reading 5 – 1 in the first 45 minutes. In what was meant to be a sweet revenge return match following last weekend’s narrow win ( 3-2 ) for The Scea AC, everything worked against Eden United.

The final score line was 10 – 4 in favor of The Scea AC – playing away. Sankara Mwizengwa netted in the second goal in the 17th minute. His intelligent movement coupled with that David Karekezi Iradukunda kept the defenders of Eden United uneasy throughout the first half. Rukundo Ndakize netted his 2nd against the same team in two different matches with a confident finish in the 30th minute before the up and coming Patron Ndayishimiye tapping in Espoir Sinzikayo’s almost already scored goal in the 43rd minute. Eden United scored a first half consolation goal there after in the 45th Minute before Ashel Sebineza curled in a free kick around the edge of the box in the 47th minute to make it 5- 1 in the first half.

Second half substitutes Patrick Rubengwa and Daniel Gatete both playing as attacking forwards kept creating width and stretching the full backs of Eden United- creating a lot of space for both David Karekezi Iradukunda and Rukundo Ndakize to make intelligent runs in feeding both Moise Mugabo and Prince Modeste in the 66th and 90th minutes respectively to score one a piece. Patrick Rubengwa scored his third goal against the same team in both the 62nd and 81st minutes respectively. Eden United came back roaring scoring 3 goals in a span of 15 minutes to reduce the score line to 10 – 4. They scored in the 70th, 73rd and 85th minute.

David Karekezi and Rukundo Ndakize assisted at least 5 goals for The Scea AC. Alongside Sankara Mwizengwa and Bievenue Iragaba, the performance of the four stood out against Eden United in today’s afternoon developmental soccer friendly game at Ronald Ngala Primary School in Dandora. Kudos.
