The Scea AC remains unbeaten after securing its 6th win against a Kayole based side – Baja FC, this afternoon. A 3 all draw was registered against against Kommarock All Stars 3 weeks back. Firstly, The Scea AC went ahead through a cool finish by Moise Mugabo in the 13th minute. None of the two teams were in total control of the game despite the first half lead The Scea AC was enjoying. The Scea AC just like the opponents struggled to connect passes seamlessly from the back through to its attacking midfielders who were playing more in the opponent’s half in the first 45 minutes. In the build up phase, The Scea AC seemed disjointed as well as unintentional. Though still the lads continued creating endless scoring opportunities which they could miss by whiskers to convert.
Just like in the first half, The Scea AC doubled its lead through a super cool finish by Rukundo Ndakize in the 73rd minute. Swapping positions with Bievenue Iragba into attacking and defensive midfield respectively, Ndakize did what his good at; curling in a low ball far the left hand corner of the goal keeper’s – post to take his tally to 7 goals in 7 league matches. In addition to the 8 goals in the 24 developmental friendly games which double up to complete The Scea Development’s 11 months competitive – developmental season, Rukndo Ndakize has netted 15 goals overall in both competitions- to make him the best goal scoring midfielder @ The Scea AC. So far.
Despite a few incidents of reckless play by some of the opposition players; all was well with the game. The weather was moderately warm – just a little cool for matchday 31st March; 2024..
