The Scea AC maintained its unbeaten run with a 2 – 1 win over Soweto Wembley FC in one of FKF’s 2024 Sub County League Matches- played on Saturday – in The Nairobi East Branch. It was the 3rd away win that The Scea AC was registering. The other 5 have been home games. This took its winning tally to 7 games plus a draw; scoring 28 goals whilst conceding 8 along the way. Its one of those impressive starts to the league that The Amateur Club has registered so far.
It only took 3 minutes for The Scea AC to take the lead through Patron Ndayishimiye’s rebound off Rukundo Ndakize’s parred attempt by the goal keeper which fell into Patron’s path to finish it off. What ensued thereafter was total control of the game and possession by The Scea AC in all phases and areas of play and field d respectively. Though the opponents – Soweto Wembley managed to level up scoring a goal mid in the 2nd half and also sent some chills around the bench of The Scea AC including their countable number of fans through a missed opportunity deep into the 2nd half which went rolling low past the right hand side of the goal post, The Scea AC remained in control. This paid off in the 85th minute with their 2nd goal slotted into the far low corner of the goal keepers post by Bievenue Iragaba. Rukundo Ndakize was the provider of the cut in pass for the goal and ultimate winner for The Scea AC.
The match was played on a muddy pitch shortly after the early morning endless drizzling stopped.
